Multiplication/Division Visual Support Resource

Multiplication/Division Visual Support Resource

This is a set of visual resources to support teaching Multiplication and Division tables to children who may need extra visual supports. In my ASD class I find that many children struggle due to language difficulties and memory issues so need to be able to learn just the answers rather than just the time tables sentence 1 time 2 is , 2 times 2 is 4, etc. so instead we focus on learning the answers by skip counting and relating it back to multiplication; 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, etc. Using these visual supports helps children to learn their number facts and also supports those children who may have more limited dexterity. Simply pop a Velcro dot on the fingers to allow children to move fingers up and down as they skip count.
This resource includes a multiplication and a division set up to X10. A video of how I use these in my class can be found on my Instagram page @ASDCreationStation.

I have also updated this pack to include an addition to 10 (for development of number bonds and addition facts) and a subtraction set also.
